Ireland’s Most Exciting Showcave

Crag Cave is formed of limestone. It is a colourful wonderland of Stalagmites and Stalactites. Discovered by cave divers in 1983, the natural, all weather tourist attraction has dramatic sound and lighting effects. It is thought to be over a million years old.

Mid March – June
10am – 6pm daily   (Temporarily closed due to Covid-19. Reopening TBA)
July – August
10am – 6.30pm daily

September – December
10am – 6pm daily

Tour Times:

May, June, July and August: every half hour

Duration of tour: 30-40 minutes

Child: €6.00 (Under 4′s go free)

The Crag Caves Visitor Centre, car park, souvenir shop, toilets, play area and restaurant are fully accessible.  To access the Crag Cave Tour visitors are required to climb over 72 steps; therefore the attraction is not accessible for wheelchairs or prams/pushchair.
