Since 2005, we have been hosting kids for fun-filled hours climbing, sliding, rolling, juggling, shooting and exploring. We know what a happy child looks and sounds like – and beaming smiles, peels of laughter, shouts of joy and squeals of excitement are the sounds that fill our activity kingdom where kids reign!
Located at Crag Cave Visitor Centre, the Crazy Cave Activity Centre is an all-weather facility perfect for children up to 12 years of age.
There’s something for the whole family on our 2 floors of fun. What do you think your kids are going to rate as their number 1 activity after their visit?
Will it be the Mega Astra Slide, the climbing frames or the ball guns? Are your kids going to play hide-and-seek in the Crazy Cave Maze or test their balance on the rope bridge? The Great Aviva Roadtrip
For Day 5 of the Great Aviva Roadtrip, the Murphys made an early morning drive to Crag Cave to explore a truly unique part of Co. Kerry. Aviva in partnership with Citroën has given the lucky winners the opportunity to travel across Ireland and experience some fantastic home-grown family fun, all in an eco-friendly hybrid vehicle to see the sights of the Emerald Isle up close. Michael, our guide, brought the family down the 70 steps into the cave, telling them all about how the stalagmites and stalactites are formed. After a fascinating time in the cave, the boys were even more thrilled to land in the Crazy Cave for some soft play (and to escape the wet summer’s day outside!). Let’s be honest. In Kerry, the rain falls and the Atlantic winds blow far more often than we would like. But when you spend time at Crazy Cave, the weather will fade to the back of your mind!
Adults can take some well-earned “down-time” in our Crazy Cave Café. All children must be supervised but our Café offers a full view of the play area. You can relax on our comfortable sofas with a selection of teas and coffees and watch the large screen TV. You can also enjoy home-made scones, pastries, sandwiches, ciabattas, light eats and delicious cakes freshly prepared in our popular on-site Garden Restaurant.
If you decide to turn your visit into a “no-cook” day at home, we offer a children’s menu and daily specials.
